Frequently asked questions

Clear answers about this service.

05

01

Is a reliability test, an honesty test and a polygraph exam the same thing?

In practice, yes: they are different names for a credibility assessment. FEXTOR performs it with a conventional polygraph or with EyeDetect, depending on what the company needs.

02

What is the difference between the polygraph and EyeDetect?

The polygraph measures body reactions (heart rate, breathing and skin) with 90% to 95% accuracy. EyeDetect reads changes in the eyes with infrared light, with no wires, takes 15 to 30 minutes and has 86% to 90% accuracy.

03

How long does an EyeDetect test take?

Between 15 and 30 minutes, and the report with the credibility score is ready in under 5 minutes.

04

Who administers the polygraph tests?

U.S.-trained examiners accredited by the American Polygraph Association (APA), with more than 15 years of experience.

05

Where do you perform polygraph tests?

In Quito, Guayaquil and other cities in Ecuador. The EyeDetect equipment is portable and can be brought to your offices.
